Looking for Armoloy Plating Technique




Q. We are trying to look for article on Armoloy plating details on the process parameters to implement here , appreciate help to source for the method to do so.

A. Hi, Baladewan.

Actually, Armoloy is a licensed process and you won't get the process parameters unless you license it. But there is a specification for "Thin Dense Chromium Plating", AMS 2438, which may meet your needs. Good luck.

A. Hi Karla. As an introductory aside, a Ford Thunderbird is a 2-seat sportscar, a 6-seat inexpensive family car, a 4-seat luxury car, or whatever the trademark owner decides at a given time. Thus, only the trademark owner can decide what Armoloy is. And we can't comment on particular brands anyway (why?) ... but there is a recognized specification for "thin dense chrome", AMS 2438 which may be helpful.
