Standard for productivity in electroplating process

I work in a technical center of chemistry. we are in the process of establishing a unit to help companies develop their productivity. We are looking for a standard used for diagnosis electroplating process in order to optimize production.
Thank you for helping us

Hi, cousin Adel.

You are seeking sort of a 2-page document that someone who knows little about electroplating can use to advise platers with a lifetime of experience about the things they are doing wrong? :-)

Seriously, in good technical libraries there are whole aisles devoted to electroplating. There are thousands of ASTM, AMS, ISO, and Mil specifications. Unfortunately, you need to fully understand electroplating before you can suggest improvements. If I had to pick just on books for the subject, it would probably be The Electroplating Engineering Handbook [on AbeBooks or eBay or Amazon] or The Canning Handbook [on eBay, Amazon, AbeBooks].

I don't personally know of any simple formula or checklist, but if you know the specific parts being plated, and the type of plating being applied to them, it may be possible to generate a "best practices" list along the lines of the MFSA's "Quality Metal Finishing Guides". You might get a copy of a couple of them from www.nasf.org and see if that is what you are looking for. Best of luck.
