Fluoborate nickel and activator analytical procedures

I am an employee at a plating shop and we are looking for a couple of analytical procedures. We are looking for a titration method to determine Nickel Chloride in an Activating solution that is made up of Muriatic Acid 18 - 20 degrees Be (100% by volume) and Nickel Chloride (granular) .2 - 1.0 oz/gal. We are also loking for a titration method to determine Boric Acid in a Nickel solution that is made up of Nickel as Metal 9.4 - 11.4 oz/gal, Nickel Fluorborate 37.5 - 45.5 oz/gal, Boric Acid 3.3 - 4.7 oz/gal with a pH of 3-4. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What you need is a copy of the Metal Finishing Guidebook. It is a must have book for platers in general as well as the analytical section. You might be able to get a used copy on line. It is free with a subscription to Metal Finishing.
