Black oxidizing on steel components

For assembling a stainless steel job carbon steel bolts are used. that job has to withstand to corrosion in sea atmosphere. those bolts are back oxidized. can I use those black oxides in above said conditions? Is there any alternative? I want to know the black oxidation process also. please help me.

We have a brief intro to black oxide FAQ on line, and more detail can be found in the Metal Finishing Guidebook. But black oxide imparts virtually no corrosion resistance, Sujatha. This will be an unsatisfactory installation. I would suggest stainless bolts of a non-galling alloy; I understand that Nitronic stainless steel might be suitable.
