Writing a paper on starting a chrome factory

I need to know how you would make a factory to make chrome parts for cars and trucks. I also would like to know the formula on how to make chrome pieces. I am doing a research paper on how you make chrome and how you would start a chrome factory and want type of mchines you need. Also the chemical formula.

Amanda,

I run a factory that chrome plates truck bumpers. You may contact me and I'll let you interview me for your research. The questions you asked would literally take hours to answer but I'll be happy to share some of the highlights with you. Ted passed you my email address.

In your local area there are a number of captive plating facilities which perform chromium plating as well as nickel, brass, etc. I would suggest that you research the names of these by going on line or to the library or just the old fashioned phone book. One captive shop in your town manufactures plumbing fixtures. In nearby towns the companies manufacture metal furniture. If you are old enough they might even be willing to arrange a tour for you. For a short article on chromium plating I would also suggest that you read the Metal Finishing Guidebook section on chromium plating.
