ANODIZING OR POWDERCOATING WANTED

Hello,

I'm looking for someone to anodize or powdercoat a new line of products my company is coming out with. I'd like them to be as close to me as possible in New York City but I would accept companies outside of the area since their prices would probably be lower. Also, can either of these processes be done in clear?

Hi, Phil.

Both can be done in clear. But some aluminum alloys, especially casting alloys, can come out quite dark depending on how much non-aluminum is in them. Powder coatings, like all clear organic coatings, can yellow over time, and selection must be made carefully if the parts will be outside exposed to sunlight. Good luck.
