Tintillate Process
I would like to know more details about tintillate process. Appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction.

"Tintillate" was a proprietary bright acid tin plating process offered by Silvercrown in the UK in the 1960's I think, certainly the
70's, but was not very bright. It may still be a process and name from Enthone OMI, but it isn't listd in the
Metal Finishing Guidebook. Any of the bright tin processes available generally nowadays should be a lot better. More interesting to me is where on earth this requirement popped up from!

Raul,
The 3M company sold Tintillate in Spore 1980 period. Later the entire Plating chemical divn was sold to Allied Kelite. Allied Kelite were sold to Macdermid. MacDermid have an office in Singapore. Tintillate was an Acid Tin system. Hope you trace the product.
