I have been looking for these same two volumes for several years. I am currently paying a search service to try and track down a copy. If I have any luck, I will let you know. I hope you will do likewise. One of my former employers had this book and it is definitely the best on the subject. It would be great to see it brought back into print.

RE: Abner Brenner's "Electrodeposition of Alloys" We are looking for a copy of these volumes too. Someone seems to have walked off with ours. This really is a great set. If someone set out to bring this set up to date he wouldn't have much to do.

Okay, there is the place to get your copy. Now that it is out that that library has the books, it won't be long until they are gone.

At least we should give them a heads-up to ask for some outrageous ransom before lending them out again.

Just a note to say that I have now found copies on the web. They are not inexpensive even used. Of course, the AESF has new copies.

We got a copy from the AESF too, David, and although any copy is infinitely better than no copy, a warning is in order in view of their very high cost. These are not real "printing press" books. The pages are in well bound covers on good quality paper, but they appear to be xerox copies--the pages are faint, and in places the printing is very light gray and very hard to read. And in our case, at least, while all the pages are there, a number of them are bound out of order, which makes the book quite difficult to work with, to say the least.

I am very glad that someone took the effort to have this priceless work reprinted in any fashion, but if you can find a used copy of the "real" book I am sure you will be much happier with it.
