Please help me electrogalvanize

Hi, I have a project that is giving me quite some trouble. I have to find a way how to set up an electrogalvanizing device. I have to galvanize an iron rod by coating it with zinc. Any type of information is useful even some help with the chemistry of it all! please help me! thanks

In the USA, the term 'electrogalvanizing' isn't very popular; we tend to say 'zinc plating'. Please see www.finishing.com/faqs/plating.shtml
