Quality Test Standard for EyeWear Industry

I am a freshman of eyewear industry. I would like to find some quality test standards of electroplating and painting. Would you suggest to me for reference?

Although most of these specs would come from spec writing organizations like ASTM and AMS, Benny, it may be difficult to start from raw specs. I think the best start might be the Metal Finishing Guidebook because it will have a chapter on testing, and a chapter referencing specs -- but within the context of an overall guide to painting and plating.
