Questions about gold thin film deposition

I'm student and I am studying the best way (e-beam evaporation, sputter deposition, electroless deposition...) to depose gold thin film (2µm) on polymer substrates like polypropylene, PTFE. What do you think I should do?

Detalle, your question can not be answered simply. All three technologies cover volumes of info which you could not absorb in one sitting. Since electroplating and electroless plating are common, I would focus on one of those. You may start with Metal Finishing Guide Book. Someone at this web site could give you a free copy of an old issue. Unfortunately I threw away my old copies.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
