Electroplating Help Needed

Hello,

I am doing my science fair project on electroplating zinc and copper onto a paper clip, leaf, and quarter. I need to know what solutions to use. It is too late to change my project. I need the information ASAP (As Soon As Possible).

THe solution and procedure were described at www.finishing.com/faqs/plating.shtml. Plating onto the leaf in probably beyond your grade level, but spray it with clear lacquer a few times, then paint it with copper paint, and hope for the best when you go to plate it.
