Sanding grit for swingarm polishing

I have read all of this and now I think I am ready to start polishing the swingarm on my brothers 1993 CR125. My question is what is the coarsest sandpaper I should use to start with and what grit of paper would be best for me to finish with before the rouge?

Hi, Mitch. You are not the first to ask this, so letter 800 is an excellent place to look for a great answer. Good luck!
