Portable electroplating device for repair of jewelry

I wish to design a portable electroplating device for use in repairing jewelry. So what safety electrolyte need I use it? This repair work is just for golden or silver jewelry.

Hi, Chan. There are many vendors of brush plating systems (also called pen plating, tampon plating, or electrochemical metallizing). See the banner at top right corner of page. Usually these vendors offer stronger, thicker plating solutions just for this purpose.

The book "Electrochemical Metallizing" by Rubinstein covers the subject in great depth. Good luck with the project.
