-----Coating a Ni Base Material
2001
I am trying to find the best coating for a Nickel base material. It needs to be >70 hardness on the Rockwell C-scale. A low coef of friction is preferred (no spec but as low as possible).
The base material (Ni) cannot exceed 200degF during the coating process. I am looking to replace the chrome coating which we are presently using.
Do you have any suggestions or words of advice?
Thank you in advance.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
