I have an old galvanized steel barn on which I cannot get a primer to adhere to, any suggestions?

Hi, Bob. See Duplex Systems: Painting over Galvanized Steel at "www.galvanizeit.org/publications/pdf_files/duplex.pdf" if a self-etching primer will not give you adhesion. But make sure your primer is a self-etching primer made for galvanized surfaces. Good luck.
