Seeking Pickling and Passivation Help

(2001)

We need to pickle & passivate Stainless Steel Manifolds made from 316L Stainless Steel, and I am looking for information on the process and materials to be used with reference of the suppliers of pickling & passivation pastes / materials. Is ASTM ASTM A380 [link is to the practice at TechStreet] the general process for this purpose ?

(2004)

Yes, ASTM A380 [link is to the practice at TechStreet] is a recent standard for Stainless Steel pickling & passivation. Now this products are available in jelly & spray form so it becomes very easy & safe for application.
