CAN SOMEONE BE KIND ENOUGH TO EXPLAIN ME THE ADVANTAGES /DISADVANTAGES OF APPLYING BLACK CHROME ON A NICKEL / WHITE CHROME SURFACE AS COMPARED TO APPLYING BLACK CHROME TO NICKEL SURFACE ONLY. I UNDERSTAND BOTH TYPES ARE IN PRACTICE AT THIS MOMENT.

Hi,

I worked with black chrome for many years for solar energy applications and decorative applications but was not aware of a process of plating black chrome over a bright chrome deposit.
