Clear coat troubles

(2001)

Hi,

I just started to polish my rims om my ZX-9. The paint is striped off but there seems to be a thick clear coat underneath. I am using 0000 steel wool [linked by editor to product info at Rockler] to take the clear coat off but it is taking forever. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Dave Berman

Dear Dave Berman,

You can work the paint stripper with brush.

Good luck.
