Hard Anodising of Specific Alloys

What is the recommended hard anodising process for 7075 and 2015 alloys?

A.Burbidge
- Banbury Oxfordshire, England
2001

Hard anodising of different alloys are carried out in 15 to 20% sulfuric acid solution at 0 to -5 °C. The voltage to be increased slowly and the final voltage and time depends on the desired thickness.

Eg. 50 to 75 micron thick can be obtained at about 30 to 33V final voltage. It would take about 2 to 2 1/2 hr time for obtaining this thickness.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
