What is Continuous Gold Plating




Q. Hello,

I have precious metal plating shop. My client told me about Continuous Gold plating and he said People outside India have Continuous Gold Plating process. Do anyone have idea on this?

A. Hi Rishabh. To me a "continuous" plating process means a process that is done on a continuous run of material rather than individual parts. Plating on wire, for example, or coiled strip, or endless lengths of chain.

All of us occasionally pretend we understand someone when we actually don't, but as I'm sure you already know, asking a 3rd party what the 1st party meant by one word the 1st party used in a conversation the 3rd party wasn't privy to is risky business indeed :-)
