Black Phosphate coating attacking zinc coating
We have a Low-carbon steel-black phosphate screw going through a zinc coated disc securing insulation. The discs now seem to be corroding and the rust is coming through the plaster. Does anyone have an idea of how and why this is happening and how can we fix the problem.
