Chemical neutralisation of bright dip
Hello,
As part of our process we use a chemical called Nickel/Iron Bright to clean our components. This is a mixture of acetic, nitric and hydrochloric acid at about pH 1. What would be the safest way to neutralise this without putting anyone at risk?

Mark,
This will depend on the volumes you are talking about. If it is a bulk chemical and you do not have waste treatment facilities I strongly recommend you get specialist waste management people in to tanker the waste away.
If it is on a small scale I would probably go for sodium hydrogen carbonate.
