How we can deposit COBALT on Nickel plated parts?

Is there any electroless or electrolytic COBALT plating process available? We need it urgently. My customer wants to plate in following manner
Base metal- Steel Hardened
Electroless Nickel - 80 microns
Electrolytic Nickel - 200 microns
Cobalt - 5 to 6 micron
How to process the component, electroless & electrolytic Nickel available with us.

There certainly is. It can be as a sulphate or as a sulfamate salt in the place of nickel. Everything is the same, only cobalt instead of nickel. You could skip the electrolytic nickel, but cobalt is more expensive, so you will probably want to keep it. It is a beautiful white deposit, almost like chrome, except softer and no blue tint.
There is an electroless cobalt, but it is very dear in price because so few use it.

I will conduct some trials in small bath.

What should be pretreatment for both Nickel & Electroless Nickel plating. Pl give guidance.

Aged nickel or electroless nickel is not easy to activate. If at all possible, go from the nickel plating to a rinse to the cobalt tank with no delay.
A quick dip in 25% HCl may work.
For older material, sulfuric hydrofluoric may work better. There are variants of electrocurrent with sulfuric acid.
On a scrap piece, you might try a short dip in 10% nitric acid, or 10% HCl and 5 % nitric.

It is honestly going to be a trial and error to find what works. Age of the plate means everything for the selection of the pretreatment.
