-----Racking spec equivalent to PS 8956
I have a sheet metal part that is to be zinc tin plated. Spec I thought would be good was PS 8956 but I believe that this is a barrel only spec not for a racked part...what would be a good equivalent spec for a racked part?

There is nothing in the Chrysler spec PS-8956 that requires either barrel or rack processes, so it should be fine for use on your engineering drawing. The issue is that this process is almost exclusively performed in barrels, regardless of the specification, because of the types of parts it is most commonly specified for (small fasteners, electrical contacts for the auto industry, etc.). There aren't that many job shops that specialize in tin-zinc, so you will just need to discuss the details of your part, and whether or not a rack process is necessary.
