-----What material for flexible contact for plating rack?
I am looking for a material that has spring steel characteristics and yet will carry the current necessary for my alkaline zinc plating process. The contact point of my rub rail is above my rack so I need something that will compress yet give me good contact with the rail. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi, Neil.
What is usually done for large contacts is to use a block of brass, copper, or bronze, mounted on springs and connected with pigtails instead of trying to build the springiness into the contact material. But if the contact is smaller, beryllium copper will give you a spring steel effect. Good luck.
