Post cleaning method after nitriding

To have a good surface finish after nitriding, polishing is generally practiced. But polishing is difficult on big jobs or complicated jobs. So if we have some chemical process like dip process or just so easy, it would be less laborous to clean components and reduce operation.

Can anybody suggest some chemical cleaning process whereby we can just dip components in some chemical and give some agitation to clean.

I have tried water and some other chemicals but that does not give as much good finishing as polishing.
