Phosphorus ratio increases after galvanizing
Dear Sirs;
we are facing an issue, can be briefly said as follows:
the Raw Material CRCFH contains a phosphorus ratio of 0.01 - 0.03 but after galvanizing process, we made several tests on the steel, the phosphorus ratio increased to be 0.19 - 0.23%.
Iwould like to know if there is a reason for this increase.

Sir:
Perhaps the first number is the "core" of the steel shown on the "heat." The second much higher number might be the surface of the steel. Alternatively the "heat" may be incorrect. I can hardly imagine trying to galvanize steel with a 0.2% silicon^phosphorous content.
