Building gold bug recovery system




hi.I want know how I can make a gold bug recovery system?:D

Hi, Mostafa. You can build an electrolytic recovery cell, but you can't build a Gold Bug because that is a trade name for one particular brand, and its trade-secret design is the result of 25 years of development. But in general, an electrolytic recovery cell is just a plating tank that has been optimized to plate at relatively high efficiency despite a low concentration of gold.

Some of the keys to that are very high surface area cathode, close anode to cathode spacing, and very high agitation or recirculation rate. Practical considerations include careful design against short circuits, good electrical fusing, and guarding against spontaneous combustion due to the metallic fines. Good luck.
