-----Will nitrogen quenching harm stainless steel anneal furnace?
What problems could occur if nitrogen is used as a quench gas in an anneal furnace with internal components made of stainless steel? Maximum temperature in the furnace would be 1100 degrees F. The load would be zirconium tubing.
