How to sand and prime carbon fiber bed on '95 GMC

Hi, my name is Juan from Houston, Texas. I been having my 95 GMC pick up truck for about four years now, I just recently changed the bed from straight bed to step side, so now I have two different colors on it. My question is what's the best way to sand and prime the carbon fiber on the step side bed?
