Chem Film Effect on Dissimilar Metals

(2000)

What effect does chemical film iaw MIL-C-5541 (on 6061 or 5056 aluminum) have on the dissimilar metals charts of Mil-STD-889 [link is to free spec at Defense Logistics Agency, dla.mil] or MIL-STD-1250?

I don't know what the charts say, but a conversion coating neutralizes the charge on the surface of the item, so I would venture that it throws the charts akimbo.
