Mechanism of adhesion between nickel and stainless steel

Could you explain about high speed electroplating of nickel on stainless steel and give some reference about this title? what is the mechanism of adhesion between nickel and stainless steel without eliminating the oxide layer of stainless steel (or any pretreatment)? thanks

Hi, Ahmad. I have never heard of plating nickel onto stainless steel without proper pretreatment including a Wood's nickel strike. But sometimes nickel may be electroformed onto a stainless steel belt as the mandrel, with no intention of adhesion.

I think you need to spend a little more time explaining what you are trying to do, as I don't understand what you are saying. Thanks.
