I would like to color anodize my rims

hello Spencer is my name.

Because I have read that the silicon in alloys complicates anodizing can you tell me what different techniques should be used on a piece of A356 than more pure aluminum. will batterie acid work?
this information will be used to color the rims on my jeep.also many other parts.
pretty cool idea right? have you heard of anodized rims other than black?
