Silkscreening onto a black anodized surface

We are experiencing a problem with 6061 T6 material that has been black anodized. We need to silkscreen information onto the surface but the epoxy ink does not stick. Is this due to the nickel acetate sealer, and can the parts be anodized so the silkscreening will stick?

Don't seal the anodize until after the silkscreen is applied.
