Nickel phosphorous electroless plating

I'm in Tasmania AUSTRALIA. I have the chemicals for phosphorous Ni plating, but cannot find any information, books, or courses I can do to learn how to do this correctly and safely. I'm not 100% sure on - the mixing of chemicals, amounts, etc.. bath setup, safety etc.. could anyone give me some ideas where I might get this info or a good book?

regards aaron

Hi, Aaron. How do you know you have the chemicals if you don't know what is needed? Virtually all electroless nickel plating is done from proprietary baths rather than raw chemicals, but "Electroless Plating" [on eBay , Amazon, or AbeBooks affil links] by Mallory and Hajdu should give you a good perspective on the situation. Good luck.

I know what chemicals I need I have the H3PO2 hypophosphorous acid, nickel hypophosphite and the sodium hypophosphite monohydrate. I know that its done in a bath or bucket I know a heating element id used to heat the solution, what I don't know is amounts to mix up to make a bath up, and what temp. the solution should be heated at. So basically I wanted to know how much of each chemical I use to make up a mix for say a 10 lt bath and what temp should it be ?
