Where can I find chromoly for off-road rig

hi, this is a two-part question. am building an off-road rig and I cannot find chromoly anywhere. can somebody tell me where can I find it. and if I can welded it with normal ac/dc welder or I have to purchase a tig welder.

also I am about to build a custom bobber motorcycle and I was wondering if chomoly would be the best option also or there is any other material I can use. your answer will be of a lot of help.
