Finishes available for music wire springs

I have a jewelry business and would like to utilize a small diameter spring for some costume jewelry pieces. The spring manufacturer proposes using 22 gauge music wire ASTM A228. The springs will be 3" to 6" in length and will not carry a load. What finishes, if any, are available for music wire that are: (a)non-allergenic,(b)available in a variety of colors,(c)are color fast and (d) hopefully, cost effective?
