RABiTS Nickel

Hi, I work on coating on RABiTS Nickel. I need to increase the wettability of the surface to coat aqueous solutions. I need to know, if cleaning with 50%Nitric acid+ 50% water mixture at 50°C destroy the texture of the rolled Nickel? or, how to increase wettability without destroying orientation of nickel?
