-----Zinc Alloy with Black Nickel plating failed Ageing Test
Dear All,
We have problem that Zinc Alloy with Black Nickel plating failed Ageing Test (Tested by our customer). Ageing Test Condition is 70 °C 95 % Humidity and 7 days. Before this, We never do ageing test only corrosion test. It is also difficult to get good result cause zinc alloy material itself is easy to be corroded. Do you have suggestion about this ?

Have you tried using a post dip or some kind of clear coating? Better to ask your chemical supplier which coating is suitable for your plating.

We already use maximum thickness of superlac (clear coating) which supplier already tested and PASS salt spray test for 120 hrs. Do you have any other information how supplier can give better quality of lacquer/clear coating/superlac?
