Looking for conductive matte black coating/plating for stainless steel

Hi,

Can anyone advice what is the process, chemical use to coat/plate the surface of the stainless steel matte black? Does this process adhere to certain forms of standards?

Thank-you

Regards
Hong

Hi, Hong. Electroplating with black chrome, black nickel, or black zinc might do what you wish. Black nickel would probably be easiest for stainless steel.

You could also anodize the stainless.
