-----Staining aluminum without carbon
I need to dye or stain small aluminum pieces with something like a colored vegetable dye or colored spray paint, however I need a product that does not contain any carbon whatsoever. Does such a thing exist?

Hi, Dan. It may cost more that you wish, or cause other problems, but you can anodize the parts and dye them with metal particles rather than organic dyes. One method is called integral color anodizing, another is called two-step anodizing.
