Could be overcuring?
But more details needed to answer this question.
What thickness material?
What type powder?
What pretreatment?
What cure time? temp?
thickness of discolouration?

Kind of sounds like the side of the cabinet is in close proximity to a vent as it is curing, if that is the case maybe you could block it and see if it makes a difference.

I have had a similar problem in the past, it turned out to be a oiler for the chain that our parts hang on. it always showed up on the larger parts.
