Painting a brass sink

I have a brass undermount sink and it is glued to the granite counter top. I've heard it is almost impossible to replace the sink without damaging the granite. Is there a paint I can use on it to refinish it. I would prefer it to look like black ceramic or porcelain. Can I paint a brass sink?

First of two simultaneous responses --

I would look at a 2 component epoxy.

Hi Stephen, you probably won't get good lasting results with painting or epoxy but why not patina it black? You can do this, we can help, and then put a wax over it for maintenance. Just a thought..
