Spots and minor scratches on stainless steel range

Hi, my name is Lana and have a serious problem. Me and my husband are remodeling our home(slowly and painfully, because we really have a tight budget) Recently w bought Bosch range, I WAS SO HAPPY. But stupid me decided to paint our old refrigerator with appliance spray - the results were beautiful, like new, but who would know the paint will fly and settle on my new range. I tried to remove it with alcohol (the can recommended) and with stainless steel cleaner and polish. But it still has that cloudy spots, not really noticeable from the distance but if you look close - AWFUL. I tried paint remover - didn't work. And I noticed little scratches on the surface too. My husband is ready to kill me and I don't know what to do not to make damage more. The range is still on the warranty, maybe I should make believe it was something wrong with it and try to replace it? I am desperate and miserable, can anybody help me . . . please, you are my last hope...
