What specific brand of urethane or rubber should be called out for masking holes during powdercoating?

I need to specify the type of rubber like material to injection mold that is the best for plugging holes during the powder coat process and can be reusable? Our sister company is new to the powdercoating business but has a need for a rubber like material that we can mold for them for masking of a hole in a powdercoated part that is part of an assembly they are powder coating for us.

Thank you
Ted

Hi, Ted. I believe that silicone plugs are generally considered the most durable and reuseable. You may or may not realize that such masking caps and plugs are a commercail item. Good luck.
