Can Alloy Wheels be chromed?




My name is Duane, and I have a 2008 Toyota Avalon with Alloy wheels that I am interested in getting chromed (IF) Alloy wheels are candidates for chroming, which is my question for this forum.

Yes, they can be chromed. But the issue is that it will cost about as much as new chromed wheels, maybe more, and more than most people would accept. It's the labor cost issue. When factory plated by an OEM, dozens are plated with each load, and the fixtures are used for plating tens of thousands. Custom labor work for one set of wheels is very expensive.
