Painting the hinges of a trash enclosure

My apt. building in Brooklyn has a trash enclosure outside in front and the black powder-coated hinges I bought from home depot (I don't know what type of metal) are starting to rust. I can replace them with aluminum or stainless steel hinges that won't rust, but I prefer to have dark powder-coated look. I can't find something like this for sale locally or on the internet. Do they exist? Should I just buy them and spray them with rustoleum? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi, David. I would buy another pair of steel hinges, strip the paint if there is any, spray them with cold galvanizing compound, then spray them with the brown Rustoleum. They should not rust for a few years.
