Fixing a wrong concrete colour

Got the concrete curb (in color) installed. the contractor applied the wrong color down. It looks horrible! Thinking of painting it. Would that sustain in Canadian winters?

If you have it in writing what the exact color was to be, preferably in reference to one of his chip color samples, then it is the contractor's problem to fix it. Look at two part epoxy paint for concrete, preferably the stuff that they do garage floors with.
