Saltini wrought iron furniture rusting problem

We have a beautiful set of Saltini furniture that, interestingly enough, never had paint on it. It's color is gray. Two of the pieces have some rust on it, but the rust doesn't come off on your hand when you rub it. We don't want to paint the set, but want to get the rust off. Do you have any suggestions for us?
